BAHRI signs with TEK Poseidon and enters the Russian market
BAHRI – The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (www.bahri.sa) – nominates TEC Poseidon as a commercial agent and enters the Russian market.
On January 16, 2017, the central office of the shipping company BAHRI in the city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) made a decision on the official entry into the Russian market, as well as on the appointment of the commercial agent of the company in Russia TEC Poseidon.
BAHRI is a well-known linear ro-ro carrier operating services that connect ports in the Middle East, East Africa, and India with ports in Europe and the United States.
In Russia, BAHRI’s main market segments include the transportation of wheeled and tracked vehicles, heavy and oversized cargo.
In addition to the standard transportation scheme through the port of Bremerhaven, we will also be able to offer a regular direct service from St. Petersburg to ports such as Djibouti, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Mombasa, Dammam, Abu Dhabi, etc., which is important for customers whose products cannot be transshipped in the European Union due to certain restrictions. At the same time, we offer our customers in the Republic of Belarus a convenient regular direct service from the port of Gdansk.”
The peculiarity of BAHRI ro-ro vessels is their versatility. All vessels are equipped with a stern ramp, two cranes with a lifting capacity of 120 tons each, and the ability to transport containers up to 300 TEUs.
