Poseidon Transport and Forwarding Company LLC was founded on 28 August 2002. In the first years, the company provided freight forwarding services, organising transportation of export and import cargoes for Russian and international participants of foreign economic activity.
In the course of its establishment and development, the company expanded not only the geography of its presence, but also the range of services provided.
The company’s head office is located in Moscow, with branches and subsidiaries operating in St Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Dubai and Riga. As a member of the international freight forwarding association GLA (Global Logistics Associates), Poseidon TEK is represented by agents in more than 50 countries.
The company’s forwarding and agency activities are insured with the international insurance group MUS (Marine Underwriting Services).
The company’s policy is aimed at forming a system of a single transport and logistics window: today Poseidon TEK Poseidon offers not only the services of a classical freight forwarder, but is also a cargo agent of the most famous international liner and tramp shipping companies, as well as a cargo agent of several major airlines.
TEK Poseidon acts as an operator of international multimodal transportations with the possibility of issuing a through operator bill of lading.
